…In the theoretical of my diploma I defined the multimedia concept from the aspect of serviceability, purpose, marketing and designing. I also determined kiosk functions and its main characteristics as well as its electronic components. I particularly exposed the biometrical and smart card area as one of the main keys to identification within the information future. As one of the main characteristics of new generation multimedia technologies is a possibility of interactive serviceability, I also disscused touch screen as basic user interface. I defined the differencies between web pages and multimedia kiosks and focused on kiosk enviroments and ways of kiosk usage.

In the project part of diploma, when designing multimedia kiosk »TOUCHME-TOUCHME«, I was following the theoretical part instructions and also criticaly discused the temporary situation. Upon the realization phase I defined from the designing point of view both the kiosk as a whole and its separate components. I also indicated different configuratins of  the kiosk and different ways of connecting kiosks as basic moduls to various modular installations.
